Laredo Vortex Aquatics
Laredo Vortex Aquatics is a member of USA Swimming. Our swim team is a year-round competitive swim team which prepares athletes to compete in USA Swimming sanctioned swim meets. Our swim team offers high quality training for swimmers of all ages. Laredo Vortex Aquatics swim team has athletes ages 6-18 at all swimming levels. Athletes from VTX have qualified for B Championship, STX Championship, STAGS, Sectional, and Future level swim meets as well as swim at the collegiate level.
Mission Statement
Develop a team environment that teaches respect, kindness, and broadens the views of all individuals on the team. Laredo Vortex Aquatics also encourages every swimmer to develop a love for the water and reach their full swimming potential. Laredo Vortex Aquatics will provide a safe, healthy, and positive environment for all athletes by implementing all Safe Sport policies.
Vision Statement
The vision of the team is to promote the sport of swimming throughout the community and develop a positive team environment that is competitive at the state and national level while continuing to protect all athletes by creating a safe space for all children.
